The Big Apple Foursquare badge is back and can now be leveled up
The Big Apple Foursquare badge was first launched back in February 2012 and was later retired. Now in January 2013 the badge has resurfaced and is now able to unlock multiple levels of the badge. If you are a New York resident, or just visiting, make sure you get out and check in all around New York to level up your badge.

How to unlock:
- Follow City Of New York on Foursquare.
- Unlock this badge by checking in where City of New York has left tips. You can find their full list of tips here.
- The first level can be unlocked by checking into “3 iconic New York City locations”.
- The next level (up to level 10) can be unlocked by checking into 5 additional recommended venues.
